SAN ANGELO, TX — Most City of San Angelo offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
There will be no interruption in trash pickup or landfill operations.
Fort Concho’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Self-guided tours will also be available. The fort is located at 630 S. Oakes St. For more information, visit fortconcho.com.
Among the City operations that will be closed Jan. 20:
- Animal Shelter
- City Hall and the Community Development building
- City Hall Annex
- Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices
- Municipal Court
- Parks and Recreation offices
- San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department
- Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers
- Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers
- Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
City offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 21.
City Council
The San Angelo City Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. View the agenda at cosatx.us/councilagenda.

- People wishing to speak at the City Council meeting must sign in prior to 8:30 a.m.
- Speakers are limited to 3 minutes.
- Applicants/proponents/appellants speaking on an item are limited to 5 minutes.
