Goodfellow AFB Seeks 20,000 Cookies for Troops This Holiday Season

SAN ANGELO, TX – Volunteers and community members are rallying to collect 20,000 cookies for service members stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base as part of the annual “Great Cookie Caper.”

The initiative aims to bring holiday cheer to 4,000 troops living in the dorms, many of whom are far from home during the Christmas season.

Cookie donations will be accepted on Monday, Dec. 9, and Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at two drop-off locations: the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, located at 418 West Avenue B, and Goodfellow’s Consolidated Learning Center, Bldg. 316.

Volunteers will package the cookies into bags on Dec. 11, with distribution to service members beginning Dec. 12 through unit representatives.
