SAN ANGELO — Rankin Transmissions secured the top spot in the 2024 San Angelo Business Plan Competition, receiving a $50,000 award from the City of San Angelo Development Corporation (COSADC).
The winners were announced at a COSADC meeting on November 13, recognizing local entrepreneurs for their innovative business plans.

The second-place prize, accompanied by a $30,000 award, was given to Angelo Donuts and Kolaches. The Canine Resort & Daycare earned third place, receiving $20,000.
This annual competition, hosted by the COSADC and Angelo State University’s Small Business Development Center, aims to support business growth and economic development in the San Angelo area.
Each winning business demonstrated a unique plan for expansion while showcasing its commitment to the community’s economic landscape. COSADC representatives praised all participants for their dedication and vision, underscoring the organization’s commitment to fostering a thriving local business environment.
