SAN ANGELO, TX - First Financial Bank celebrated its 9th Annual Day of Service on Monday, October 14, with 52 employees volunteering across San Angelo.
The bank, which closed for Columbus Day, organized teams to assist seven local nonprofit organizations with various projects.

Volunteers from the bank contributed their time at the United Way of the Concho Valley, where they painted an exterior wall in preparation for a Centennial Mural. Another team worked with the “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” program, installing beds for underprivileged children at local homes.

Additional service projects included:
- San Angelo Early Childhood Center: Interior painting and cleaning playground equipment.
- Concho Valley Turning Point: Deep cleaning of a meeting room and food pantry.
- Alcohol and Drug Awareness Center for the Concho Valley: Landscaping at the Journey Recovery Center.
- Baptist Memorial Retirement Center/Sagecrest: Sanding and staining benches, and working on art projects with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.
- San Angelo State Park: Landscaping and cleaning the playground area.
First Financial Bank holds its Day of Service annually, with employees volunteering at locations across Texas.
First Financial Bank has two locations in San Angelo, Texas. The branch at 222 S. Koenigheim St. is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with its drive-through service available until 6 p.m. The second location, at 3471 Knickerbocker Rd., shares the same hours. Both branches are closed on weekends.
