Shannon to Host Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic

SAN ANGELO, TX — Shannon will host a drive-thru flu shot clinic from Wednesday, Oct. 2 to Friday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

The clinic will be held at Shannon South Campus, in the parking lot on Executive Drive between the Shannon South Surgery Center (3605 Executive Dr.) and Knickerbocker Rd.

The flu shot clinic is open to patients ages six months and older. No appointment is necessary. Patients are asked to bring their insurance card, as Shannon Clinic will accept and file with insurance. If not charged to insurance, the cost is $35 per vaccine.

All flu vaccines in the U.S. are “quadrivalent” vaccines, which means they protect against four different flu viruses: an influenza A(H1N1) virus, an influenza A(H3N2) virus, and two influenza B viruses.
