Concho Valley Archaeology Society to host Archaeology Fair

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Concho Valley Archaeology Society will host its annual Archaeology Fair, "Yesterday's Revisited," at Barracks 6, Fort Concho, on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is free and includes hands-on activities for kids. Parking is available on Henry O. Flipper Street, accessible from South Oakes Street.

Activities include digging, face painting, and learning about West Texas geology. Visitors can also try throwing an atlatl, a prehistoric tool, or using a bow and arrow like Plains Native American hunters.
