SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo announced progress on the South Jackson Street project on Wednesday.
According to information from the city, utility work on the project is now 100% complete.
Road work on the side of Jackson Street adjacent to Chick-fil-A has been finished, and the installation of traffic signals is set to begin shortly.
On the side of Jackson Street near Taco Bell, cement stabilization of the roadway is currently underway. Additionally, concrete flatwork has commenced and will soon extend to the pavement at the railroad tracks, with the project moving towards Knickerbocker Road.
City officials did not specify a completion date for the entire project.
