UPDATE: More Details Released on Death at Rosa's Cafe in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man was confirmed to have died at Rosa's Cafe, 4235 Sherwood Way, in San Angelo on Saturday, Aug. 3, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The man was a Rosa's employee, said Kent Dean, Director of Marketing for Rosa's Cafes.

"It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of one of our team members employed with Rosa's Cafe located on Sherwood Way in San Angelo, TX this morning," Dean said in a statement. "At this time, details surrounding the death are unknown and with respect to the family, we have no further comment."

An investigation is underway regarding a possible natural causes death, stated an SAPD press release, which would seem to indicate no foul play is suspected.

Police and San Angelo Fire Department personnel responded to a medical call at Rosa's about 8:34 a.m. Saturday. Life-saving measures on the patient were unsuccessful.

Rosa's, which had been closed since the incident, plans to reopen at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dean said.
