SAN ANGELO, TX — Two 18-year-old San Angelo men have been arrested in connection with the theft of more than $1 million from a local Walmart.
Carmelo Amigleo and Ryan Munoz were arrested Sunday, July 28, after an investigation into a large-scale theft operation that took place over the course of a year at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 1852 Sherwood Way, according to the San Angelo Police Department.
It is unclear if the theft involved merchandise, money or both, but a sum of about $1,051,000 had been stolen, said SAPD Police Chief Travis Griffith.
Police detectives executed search warrants Sunday at local residences, which resulted in the discovery of various pieces of evidence and proceeds related to the crime, according to police.
SAPD is asking for anyone with additional information to contact Concho Valley Crime Stoppers at 325-658-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous.

Maybe they can afford a couple of raises now. As though a six figure income for the upper ranks isn't enough.
