Two Dogs Returned After Being Saved from Kill List

SAN ANGELO, TX — Two dogs that were saved from being killed at the San Angelo Animal Shelter have been returned.

Skippy, an 11-month-old lab mix, and Colson, a two-and-a-half-year-old shepherd mix, have been returned to the San Angelo Animal Shelter just one day after being saved.

According to the Concho Valley PAWs Facebook post, Colson and Skippy were returned as the fosters did not have permission from the relatives that they live with to have the dogs in the house.

The Facebook post reads:

Colson and Skippy were returned from their foster home due to no fault of their own. The foster didn’t have permission from the relatives they lived with to bring them to the household. They are in desperate need of fosters or adopters!! Both boys do well with other dogs and are active and energetic. We provide medical care and supplies for fosters!

Both dogs were part of the 20 that needed saving this most recent time the shelter went over capacity. All the dogs were saved before the deadline but now Colson and Skippy need to be adopted or fostered.
