City of San Angelo Provides Update on College Hills Blvd Project

SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo announced that the College Hills Boulevard project is on track to be completed by the end of 2024.

According to the update, road construction is 80-85% complete, and traffic signal work is 95% finished, with the only remaining work at the intersection of Millbrook Drive and College Hills Boulevard.

Recent rains have impacted the project, delaying concrete flatwork, according to the city.

The city noted that curb and gutter work must be completed before the roadway can be paved. Additionally, all but one stormwater structure has been completed.

The next significant phase will involve stabilizing the subgrade from Cumberland to Loop 306. Sidewalk work is nearly complete, with only the section from Millbrook Drive to Vista Del Arroyo remaining.
