Melon Fest at the Farmer's Market is this Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo posted on its Facebook page recently reminding San Angeloans that this weekend is Melon Fest out at the Concho Valley Farmer’s Market.

Concho Valley Farmer’s Market, located at 609 S. Oakes Street in downtown San Angelo, will host the event on Saturday, July 27, beginning at 7 a.m. The event will continue all day or until the local produce sellers run out of the variety of melons, they bring to Melon Fest this year.

The Concho Valley Farmer’s Market is open to the public every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. They offer a variety of locally sourced produce from around the area. 

According to discoversanangelo.com, they are a “group of local farmers and gardeners who are offering fresh locally grown produce, plants, and fresh baked goods at our farmer's market.”
