Howard College Announces Plumbing Program to Begin in August

SAN ANGELO, TX — Howard College in San Angelo has announced its new tradesman plumbing program — the only one offered by a college in West Texas — will begin in August.

The program will consist of five classes taken over the course of two semesters on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m.-9:50 p.m.

Students can then take their tradesman plumber-limited license exam.

Howard College was selected for a $400,000 grant last year to build a new center for a plumbing program and a pre-apprenticeship electrical program.

The course is financial-aid eligible. Call Howard College at 325-481-8356 or visit the college online at howardcollege.edu/info-request for more information.
