SAN ANGELO, TX — The Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced on Friday morning that construction involving lane closures at South Loop 306 and US 87 would begin on Saturday, June 28.
TxDOT made the announcement in a Facebook post on the Texas Department of Transportation (San Angelo) page.
“Construction will begin tomorrow (June 28, 2024), which will involve lane closures on the South Loop 306 and US 87 intersection,” TxDOT said. “Ramp closure will begin on Monday, July 1, 2024, and go through Wednesday, July 3, 2024.”
This intersection is located southeast of San Angelo and is towards Wall.
For those who use this intersection, TxDOT has an alternate option available.
“Please use adjacent crossovers for alternate routes in this area,” the post continued. “Construction will continue in this area forward until the end of August 2024. Obey all construction signs and watch for flaggers.”
