GALLERY: 2024 San Angelo Juneteenth Parade

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Blackshear Heights Juneteenth Committee is hosting a three-day celebration for Juneteenth under the theme “Their Wildest Dreams.”

The festivities commenced yesterday, June 14, and will continue through Sunday, June 16. 

Today, June 15, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, 2121 MLK Drive.

Highlights will include a bounce house, games, food, water activities such as water slides, STEM activities, a basketball tournament, giveaways, music, and a BBQ cook-off.

The celebration will conclude on Sunday, June 16, with a church service featuring gospel music, praise, and worship. This will happen from 10 a.m. to noon. The service details can be obtained from Pastor John Pope at (325) 212-1878.
