The Search for Silver is Over!

SAN ANGELO, TX—The search is over as someone has found the container in this month’s Summertime Search for Silver Scavenger Hunt.

At around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, I received a phone call from an unknown number. When I answered, the caller on the other end said they had found the silver container.

That’s right, someone has found the silver for this month.

If you take the picture of the Cactus Hotel, Santa Fe Furniture, the Water Lily Garden, and the disk golf basket on the south side of the Concho by Bell Street and make an X using the hotel and Santa Fe photo and the basket and lily photo, the lines intersect at the South Hill Street dead end, or close enough.

Additionally, in the article for Clue #6, the first letter of every sentence spells out "SOUTH HILL".

There was also a map hidden in the lower left-hand section of the crossword, going from left to right, the answers were Beauregard, Concho River, Knickerbocker, then up and down, Chadbourne and Koenigheim.

That’s all the answers I’m giving away as there are two more months of the Search for Silver.

Remember, I only had four days to come up with what I did.

Now I have three weeks.

San Angelo LIVE! is running the Summertime Search for Silver Scavenger Hunt all summer long, once a month, and is only possible due to Cano's Diamonds & Coins, located at 1610 West Beauregard Avenue in San Angelo.
