SAN ANGELO, TX— San Angelo LIVE! received concerning news regarding the Summertime Search for Silver Scavenger Hunt.
This morning, San Angelo LIVE! received a phone call about the Search for Silver where the caller asked if the coins had been found.
The caller said that someone posted on Facebook a picture and she believed the 20 Silver Eagle Coins had been found by someone. San Angelo LIVE! has not been able to find the Facebook post either.
San Angelo LIVE! or game master James Bouligny has NOT received a phone call from anyone saying that they found the silver coin container. So, as far as anyone knows, the coins are still up for grabs and are still out there somewhere in San Angelo.
Bouligny also isn’t that dumb (regardless of what you've heard) and did NOT hide $800 worth of silver coins somewhere in San Angelo. He only dropped the container the coins come in. Inside the container, there is a note informing the winner to call either San Angelo LIVE! or Bouligny directly. There is also other confirming information on the note to make sure it is the legit silver container.
In the end, the hunter who finds the container will have to call to get their 20 Silver Eagle Coins.
