SAN ANGELO, TX - The new playground at Bell Park will have a grand opening next week.
The City of San Angelo, in collaboration with the Alcohol & Drug Awareness Center for the Concho Valley, will hold a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. Monday, April 22.
The park is located at 515 Lowrie Ave.
The playground was installed by City Parks crews and funded by the ADACCV with a $188,000 grant from Texas Health and Human Services.
The grant will also fund Bell Park and Mountainview Park, which are scheduled to be completed in the fall.
