Here’s An Update On The Howard St. Construction

SAN ANGELO, TX - The City of San Angelo Operations Director Patrick Frerich swung by the San Angelo LIVE! studio and updated us regarding our local roadways.

When it comes to Howard Street construction, Frerich said that utility work is about 85 to 90 percent complete on the north side of the loop, with paving “coming right behind that.”

Frerich said that Avenue N and Johnson St are projects coming up.

He also said that his team is finalizing the designs of Edmund Blvd, Glenna St, and W. 29th Street.

He said that his team has designs started for Sunset Dr as well.

Construction here will go from Sunset Dr to Foster Rd, near loop 306.

“We’re about to start the design process on Avenue N from Sherwoodway to Chadbourne,” Frerich said. “And then Johnson Street from Knickerbocker to Sherwood Way. We want the public and citizens to know that we understand how much this impacts their daily lives. But we are out there; we’re trying to do (our) best.”
