One of the Largest Art Shows in San Angelo is Underway

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Performing Arts Center is currently hosting one of the city's largest art exhibitions.

The second annual "Artists for Artists Show and Sale" is currently taking place at 82 Gillis St., showcasing a collection of 170 works by 101 talented artists.

This exhibition, which celebrates San Angelo's status as the Visual Arts Capital of Texas, is open to the public until March 21.

Organized by Art in Uncommon Places, the show will culminate in a special "Last Call" event on March 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., where attendees can meet the artists behind the featured works and purchase them. 

This show is also the only fundraiser of the year for Art in Uncommon Places. 

From now until March 15, the exhibit will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

On March 16, doors open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and from March 18 through 21, the art show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
