Car Show Benefiting Young Leukemia Fighter

SAN ANGELO, TX — A car show is being held today to support Maverick, a young boy battling leukemia. 

The car show is taking place today, Saturday, March 9th, at Fuzzy's Taco Shop located at 4333 Sherwood Way, “to help with the financial burden that comes with medical treatments, procedures, medications, and other expenses.” 

Organizers invite the public to show their support from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where enthusiasts can showcase their cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, or any vehicle of choice. 

Registration for participants has already taken place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with an entry fee of $20. 

The event offers an array of awards, including trophies for the Top 20 participants and special recognitions such as the Kid's Choice Trophy, People's Choice Trophy, and the coveted Best of Show Trophy. 

Additionally, a donation box will be available for those wishing to contribute further to Maverick's cause.

Everyone's kindness and generosity will make a great difference in Maverick's life and will serve as a beacon of hope during their journey to recovery.
