SAN ANGELO, TX - The new “Mountainview Skate Plaza” is officially underway in San Angelo near there TLCA campus in west San Angelo.
The new skate park will be located at Mountain View Park at 3031 Freeland, near the tennis court area.
“The signs have been put up, and we're working hard to get all of the pieces put in place,” Skate Angelo stated.
A 10-foot flat “grind box” and a “few extra rails and ramps” are being installed this weekend. An official "grand opening" celebration is planned to arrive soon.
On its Facebook page, Skate Angelo thanked contributors who have been working “super hard” to get the mini ramp setup.
“If you have any contributions that you would like to make to the skate plaza, please let us know,” the information stated. “The more the merrier! Thanks, everyone, for your continued support! We hope to see you at Mountainview soon!”
