SAN ANGELO, TX — The final act has been cast for “Be Theatre,” as the Board of Directors and staff declared that the ongoing season will mark the end of their artistic journey.
The curtains will draw to a close with a production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" gracing the stage in May 2024.
Following this, the last performance of "BAD Improv" is scheduled for June.
"We are grateful for the past 13 years of support from the community, friends, and donors who have championed our mission," Be Theatre stated. "At this time, as we work to finalize details, we ask for your respect and patience until we are able to give a longer statement with more information about this difficult decision."
The San Angelo Performing Arts Center leases the space used by Be Theatre at 82 Gillis St. The San Angelo PAC is a separate organization and will remain open.
