SAN ANGELO, TX - Concho Valley PAWs is set to host a free adoption event on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sierra Vista United Methodist, located at 4522 College Hills Blvd.
CV PAWS extends a warm invitation, urging the community to join them for a "puppy party" and an opportunity to meet hopeful pups in search of forever homes.
Simultaneously, the city's animal shelter introduces the "Reclaim Rover Roundup," an initiative dedicated to reuniting lost dogs with their owners.
Running from Feb. 20 through 26, this event allows pet owners to retrieve their furry friends at no cost, thanks to the generosity of donors covering impound, boarding, and microchip fees.
To facilitate the process, the city encourages residents to visit cosatx.us/animals for helpful tips on locating lost pets and access a live inventory of pets at 24PetConnect.com. When using the filter option, input the zip code 76905 to streamline the search.
