City Offices Closed on Presidents Day; Trash Service Uninterrupted

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – In observance of Presidents Day, most City offices in San Angelo will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19. 

However, residents can rest assured that trash pickup and landfill operations will continue without interruption.

Fort Concho will also have its Visitor Center in Barracks 1 open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Presidents Day. Visitors can enjoy self-guided tours during this time.

A number of City operations will experience closures on Feb. 19. These include:

  • Animal Shelter
  • City Hall and the Community Development building
  • City Hall Annex
  • Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices
  • Municipal Court
  • Parks and Recreation offices
  • San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department
  • Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers
  • Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers
  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Residents are advised that WIC offices will resume operations at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Meanwhile, all City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on the same day.

The San Angelo City Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the McNease Convention Center at 501 Rio Concho Drive. The meeting agenda is available for public viewing at cosatx.us/councilagenda.
