Local Chapel To Unveil Renovations Following $115,000 Grant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - A celebratory event will unveil the newly renovated Elsie Gayer Chapel at the Baptist Retirement Community on Tuesday, Feb. 6. 

The renovation project was made possible by a generous $115,000 grant from the "Art and Eva CamuñezTucker Foundation." 

The event, scheduled from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., will kick off with a brief program featuring key speakers. 

Aaron Hargett, senior executive director of Baptist Retirement Community, will share insights, joined by Kevin McSpadden, the community's chaplain, and Dr. Albert Reyes, president and CEO of Buckner International. Buckner International, a faith-based nonprofit, oversees the community through its ministry, Buckner Retirement Services.

The Elsie Gayer Chapel, located within the Elsie Gayer Administration Building at 902 N. Main Street, will host a reception and open house following the program.
