One Day Left to Save Lives - 7 Dogs Face Euthanasia Saturday

SAN ANGELO, TX - Concho Valley PAWS announced that time is ticking away for seven dogs still at risk of euthanasia if not adopted or fostered by tomorrow, Feb.3.

To meet and potentially adopt or foster these dogs, the San Angelo Animal Shelter, located at 3142 US-67, welcomes visitors today, Feb. 2, between noon and 6 p.m.

The shelter has set a deadline of 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3.

It was reported on Wednesday, Jan. 31, that the animal shelter needs adoptions, fostering, or transfers to avoid euthanizing what was a total of 16 dogs due to exceeding its capacity.

The San Angelo Animal Shelter must maintain a population of under 180 dogs at all times. The facility had 185 dogs on-site.

Unless these seven dogs find adoptive homes, foster families, or alternative rescue placements by the specified time, euthanasia will be the unfortunate outcome.

Those interested in making a difference and potentially saving these dogs are urged to contact Jen at [email protected] as soon as possible.

For those looking to explore available shelter pets, a comprehensive listing can be found on 24petconnect.com.

To initiate the adoption or fostering process and contribute to this critical effort, individuals can visit cvpaws.org.
