    • When: Monday, Jan. 29, to Monday, Feb. 5.
    • The road will reopen to traffic temporarily at 6 p.m. on Friday and will close again on Monday.
    • Note: The utility project is expected to conclude in spring 2024. During weekends, the road will reopen to traffic, only to close again on Monday morning at a new block. Details about future block closures will be provided as they become available.
  2. Road Closure: Howard St. from Wilson St. to Glenwood Dr.

    • When: Tuesday, Jan. 2, to late February 2024.
    • No through traffic will be permitted on Greenwood, Stanton, Lakeside, and Glenwood, as well as any alleys in between.
    • Businesses within these road closures remain open, and access to them is being maintained.

The comprehensive construction initiative aims to enhance the infrastructure along Howard Street, with the utility project anticipated to reach completion in spring 2024. The periodic road closures are vital for the progress of the project, and the community is encouraged to stay informed about upcoming closures by following official announcements.

Residents and businesses impacted by the closures are advised to plan accordingly and utilize alternate routes when necessary. The city appreciates everyone's patience and cooperation as these improvements are made to enhance the overall quality of Howard Street.
