SAN ANGELO, TX - In an effort to raise funds for their life-saving programs, Concho Valley PAWS has organized an online auction featuring unique experiences and practical items that ends Thursday.
The auction, which started on Dec. 8, will run until Thursday, Dec. 14, at midnight, aiming to reach a goal of $10,000.
Part of this auction are two job shadowing opportunities.
The first offers a day-long ride along with a fireman, providing an insider's view of life in the firehouse.
The second opportunity invites participants to step into the bustling world of a professional kitchen.
Chef Jason Hefler of PV Deli and Peasant Village Restaurant will guide the lucky individual through a day in the life of a chef, offering insights into the culinary world.
For those still knee-deep in holiday preparations, the auction features a gift wrap organizer equipped with all the essentials – paper, ribbons, and gift tags.
What sets this item apart is the added bonus of a Sony wireless speaker, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes while tackling the wrapping frenzy.
As of the time of this publication, the auction has raised $3,526, leaving a shortfall of $6,474 to reach the $10,000 target.
“Concho Valley PAWS is dedicated to the welfare of pets in San Angelo, providing essential services such as adoption programs, low-cost spay and neuter initiatives, rehoming assistance, and a pet food pantry,” the organization stated. “The auction serves as a fun and rewarding way for animal lovers to contribute to life-saving programs.”
