San Angelo, TX - In a joyful departure from the traditional Elf on the Shelf, Downtown San Angelo is set to enchant locals and visitors alike with its inaugural "Sheep on the Shelf" scavenger hunt.
The hunt will take place on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This holiday-themed activity will offer a unique and engaging experience as participants embark on a quest to discover hidden sheep in various participating businesses throughout the downtown area.
The rules are simple, participants kick off their adventure by grabbing a game card from any of the participating locations conveniently listed on the stroll map.
From there, the challenge is to visit each designated business and uncover the elusive "Sheep on the Shelf."
Importantly, players are reminded not to remove the sheep from its hiding spot.
Once the sheep is located, participants can head to the business's checkout desk to verify their discovery and collect a coveted sheep sticker.
To be eligible for a chance at the grand prize, participants must ensure that their game card is adorned with stickers from all participating locations.
After successfully filling their card with stickers, participants can drop it off through the mail slot at the Downtown San Angelo office, situated at 24 W Concho Avenue (next to ARock Salon). The deadline for submission is December 21.
The thrill reaches its peak on Friday, Dec. 22, when one lucky winner will be drawn at random and promptly notified.
The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of the draw at Downtown San Angelo, during normal business hours.
