Claim Your Animals!

SAN ANGELO - In an effort to reunite lost pets and livestock with their owners, the City of San Angelo is asking residents to check the recently found animals at the San Angelo Animal Shelter.

The shelter, located at 3142 U.S. Highway 67 North, posted a plea on social media, showcasing two adult pit mixes named Rick and Richelle.

These dogs were discovered on Nov. 24, at 1900 Ricks Dr. If any of these dogs belong to you, contact the shelter at 325-657-4224.

Pets without tags or chips will be available for adoption after three days with Concho Valley PAWS.

According COSA, to view the entire inventory of found pets, visit "24petconnect" and enter the zip code 76905 in the filter option.

Additionally, the shelter is offering a special $13 microchip service from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Register in advance at cosatx.us/microchip to take advantage of this opportunity.

The San Angelo Animal Shelter is also dealing with recently found livestock, including an adult sheep discovered on Nov. 22 at 3500 Lake Dr.

Owners of the lost livestock are encouraged to contact the shelter as well.

Unclaimed livestock will be made available for adoption through Animal Services after a period of 14 days.
