Veterans Day Events in San Angelo this Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Calling all veterans! This Saturday, November 11, is Veterans Day, and multiple events are available to celebrate San Angelo's veterans. Two of these events happen on Friday and Saturday, so come out and show support for the men and women who served their country.

Friday, November 10:

This Friday, November 10, Grape Creek Elementary School will put on its annual Veteran’s Day Program. The event will occur at Grape Creek High School in the Gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend

Saturday (Veterans Day), November 11:

There will be a Veterans Day Parade in downtown San Angelo. If any Veterans would like to assist in decorating the float, meet at the VFW Post at 8 a.m.  After the float is decorated, it will be moved for the parade's start at 11 a.m. The parade start location is 104 Veterans Memorial Drive.
