GoFundMe Setup for Family of US-67 Crash Victim

SAN ANGELO, TX — There is somber news Friday involving the crash on US Highway 67 on Thursday, October 19, in which a car struck a tree before bursting into flames

Ryan Rogers, son of the driver in the car crash, posted on a GoFundMe page that his mother, Tammie Hooten, has died.

“As of Saturday, October 21, she has been pronounced brain dead,” Rogers said. The cause was a lack of blood flow to the brain caused by artery damage. She told us, as her family, that she didn’t want to be put on life support if something like this were to happen many years ago. We are following her wishes.”

Anyone is welcome to donate to her GoFundMe HERE. As of Friday, October 27, $1,160 out of the $1,700 goal has been met.

“We thank everyone who donates, no matter how small the donation,” Rogers said.
