San Angelo TxDOT Free Bike Safety Rodeo Set for Fitness Zone

SAN ANGELO— The Texas Department of Transportation is putting on a city-wide bike rodeo at a local gym.

On Thursday, August 10, 2023, the Texas Department of Transportation is helping host a bike rodeo at Fitness Zone from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. At this event, children will be able to get bike safety tips and checks as well as go through a safety course. Also, car seat safety tips will also be available.

Helmets will be available while supplies last and bike and scooters will be provided should a child not have one.

Fitness Zone is located at 2801 West Loop 306 just past Fall Creek Drive.
