SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo is reminding residents that there are dogs currently in the care of the San Angelo Animal Shelter that were found around the city. On the City’s Facebook page, several pictures of dogs were posted. The City asks the owners to claim their canines.
All dogs are currently in the care of the San Angelo Animal Shelter. If one of these dogs is yours, or you know whose it might be, please contact the shelter at 325-657-4224 or visit the San Angelo Animal Shelter at 3142 U.S. Highway 67 North. Pets with no tag/chip will be available for adoption after three days with Concho Valley PAWS.
Is your pet missing but not pictured here? View the shelter’s entire inventory of pets at 24petconnect.com. The Animal Shelter also asks for residents to register their pet’s picture at lost.petcolove.org. The facial recognition software notifies anyone who has a pet registered if a match comes into a participating shelter.
The Animal Shelter is also offering $13 microchips at the shelter. Its hours are Monday-Friday, 1- a.m. to 6 p.m.

- Ryu – young collie mix, found 300 Van Zandt St. 7/27/23
- Celestial – young lab mix, found 300 Van Zandt St. 7/27/23
