1st Annual Battle of the Badge Rib Eating Contest

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department announced on Tuesday, July 18, that the Police Department will collaborate with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office in the “1st Annual Battle of the Badge Rib Eating Contest.” On Friday, July 21, the contest will take place at Texas Roadhouse, located at 3057 W. Loop 306 in San Angelo.

Per the San Angelo Police Department Facebook Page, “Join us Friday, July 21, at 12 p.m. for a Rib Eating Contest between our local First Responders.” The contest will consist of four SAPD officers squaring off against four Tom Green County Sherriff's Office Deputies eating ribs. Texas Roadhouse will be collecting donations for local first responders at the restaurant. All donations collected at the event will be given to the winner of the contest’s charity of choice.

Texas Roadhouse will also donate $500 to the winner’s charity. Texas Roadhouse will open at 10:45 a.m. for all San Angelo residents to come out and show support for our local first responders.
