Dogs Lost Over July 4th Still at San Angelo Animal Shelter

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo is reminding residents that there are dogs currently in the care of the San Angelo Animal Shelter that were found around the city. On the City’s Facebook page, pictures of two dogs were posted. The City asks the owners to claim their canines.

• Sarge – adult shepherd mix, found 1200 Spaulding St. 7/6/23

• Alejandra – adult retriever mix, found 300 S. Bishop St. 7/6/23

Per their Facebook page, “If one of these dogs is yours, or you know whose it might be, please contact the shelter at 325-657-4224 or visit us at 325-657-4224 or visit us at 3142 U.S. Highway 67 North. Pets with no tag/chip will be available for adoption after three days with Concho Valley PAWS.”

The San Angelo Animal Shelter also says to check 24petconnect.com if your dog is missing but is not one of the dogs in the picture. San Angelo residents can register their pet’s picture at lost.petcolove.org. The software uses facial recognition that notifies someone if a match comes into a participating shelter. $13 microchips are also available at the San Angelo Animal Shelter. Hours are Monday - Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
