Five Puppies Need to Be Adopted in San Angelo or Else

SAN ANGELO, TX – Five puppies were dropped off at a full City of San Angelo Animal Shelter on Tuesday. This means that five other dogs could be euthanized to make room.

The following is from the City of San Angelo:

As of Tuesday, June 27, the San Angelo Animal Shelter is at capacity. The shelter had an intake of five puppies, which put the shelter at the maximum of 180 dogs onsite. These young dogs need to be adopted, fostered or transferred to another rescue. The shelter must be under 180 dogs at all times. Adoptions, fosters and transports are urgently needed. These five puppies will not be up for euthanasia but other dogs could be if the capacity is not lowered under 180. View available shelter pets at 24petconnect.com.
