Fireworks are Always Illegal in the City of San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — As the 4th of July Independence Day celebration approaches, the City of San Angelo is reminding residents of some rules and regulations regarding fireworks inside the city limits. Per their Facebook page, the city detailed what can and cannot be done on July 4th.

“Shooting or possessing fireworks inside or within 5,000 feet of city limits is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a max fine of $2,000,” the City of San Angelo said. “We’re under a burn ban, so please remember the rules and leave the fireworks to the professionals.”

The City also included fireworks shows that the residents of San Angelo can attend if they want to see some amazing fireworks displays on July 4th.
