Isolated Areas of San Angelo Lose Power Temporarily During Flash Flood

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A few locations around San Angelo experienced power outages during the flash flooding on Thursday morning.

According to AEP, on May 25, 2023, over 3,000 customers within the city limits lost power at one point during the storm. Additionally, there were hundreds of customers outside the city who also experienced power loss.

The main areas affected were the Paul Ann area, Knickerbocker Road, and Downtown San Angelo.

Fortunately, the outages were quickly resolved, and by 11:30 a.m., only a few outages remained.
