SAN ANGELO, TX — 30 San Angelo Students on Tuesday received scholarships from the San Angelo chapter of the Pan American Golf Association. Each student will receive $1,000 for college.
The scholarships were awarded to the students at the golf tournaments’s main sponsor, Jim Bass Ford.

The awards ceremony was at Jim Bass Cars and Trucks, 4032 Houston Harte Expy. on Tuesday afternoon, May 16. This year the recipients were:

Since 2009, the Pan American Golf Association has given out 259 scholarships totaling $259,000. In San Angelo, the local chapter's primary fundraising activity is it annual gold tournament held in the spring.
