College Hills Construction to Flip Sides Friday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo announced on Thursday a huge milestone in the College Hills construction project.

According to the COSA, on May 5, 2023, traffic lanes will be shifted from the west to the east on College Hills Blvd. from Avenue N to Millbrook. 

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible. Exercise extreme caution while driving in the construction zone.

The project began May 2022. Phase one began with utility work on the north side (Millbrook to Avenue N), followed by reconstruction of the roadway. The south side will follow. Sewer and water utilities on the north side are 100% complete; water utility replacement is 100% complete. North and south low water crossings are both completed and open. Wastewater and stormwater construction from Vista del Arroyo to Loop 306 now underway.

The completion date is unknown at this time.
