United Way Announces Winner of TV Drawing

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The United Way of the Concho Valley held a drawing for the annual campaign grand prize of a 70-inch Samsung television and soundbar at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Texas Bank on Sherwood Way.  Rebecca Young from the Housing Authority of San Angelo was the 2022 Grand Prize Winner.

"For 60 years, Texas Bank has been serving our community, not only in business but also by supporting local philanthropic and volunteer efforts. We are proud to continue our partnership with the United Way of the Concho Valley and to contribute to the long-lasting impact provided each year," says Casey Barrett, President/CEO of Texas Bank.

Not only do they support the United Way with a corporate gift and allow their employees to donate through payroll deduction, but they also generously sponsor our grand prize drawing, and this year it’s for a 70-inch Samsung television and soundbar," says Ashley Ammons, President/CEO of the United Way of the Concho Valley. "Their support helps impact over 60,000 individuals each year."

All individuals who have donated to the United Way of the Concho Valley this year will be eligible to win the Samsung 70-inch television and soundbar. The winner will be drawn at 10:00 am at the Texas Bank located at 2201 Sherwood Way. The media is invited to participate in this event.

The United Way of the Concho Valley fights for the education, health, and financial stability of all individuals in the 14 counties of the Concho Valley. Together, we work to address the root causes of poverty to not only deliver hope but also bring about lasting change. Our community partners are vital to our mission.
