Goodfellow AFB Holding Loud Severe Weather Drills

 

SAN ANGELO  – Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo will conduct severe weather exercises using a loud speaker starting Tuesday, March 7 and ending on Thursday, March 9.

According to 17th Training Wing Public Affairs, residents in the area may hear the 'giant voice', a loudspeaker used to announce weather and safety conditions to the base and should not be alarmed.  Delays at the gates can be expected during the exercise.
