San Angelo Church Hosting Fundraiser Saturday for Local Man Battling Leukemia

SAN ANGELO – A benefit for a local man who has leukemia will be held this Saturday at Bethel San Angelo Church.

Victor D. Pescador was recently diagnosed with leukemia and this weekend his family and friends are selling pulled pork sandwich plates and also having a bake sale to help Pescador with medical expenses.

Marcus Hunt, a friend of Pescador said in a message that the Pescador family is always giving and helping others when help is needed, and they are raising money to help pay for their sons cancer treatments. Hunt also said that Victor is in pretty bad situation.

Pescador is being moved to San Antonio and will be staying there for the remainder of his treatment.

On Saturday, August 13, 2022, starting at 11:00 a.m., go to the Bethel San Angelo church, located at 1902 Childress Street and pick up a pulled pork sandwich plate for $12.00. The plates include chips and a drink.

Preorder is available by calling Kenneth Gunnels at (325) 456-6472.

They will also be hosting a bake sale and all proceeds of the benefit will go to Pescador’s leukemia treatment.
