SAN ANGELO, TX – Does your pet need a microchip but you can't afford it? Well if so the City of San Angelo is offering free identification chips!
According to the COSA, on Jun. 30, Animal Services will be hosting a free event for microchipping at the animal shelter. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"No more tags jingling on your pet's collar, the ID chip lives passively just beneath your pets' skin if it's needed. If your pet escapes its enclosure, your microchip is scanned at the shelter or any vet clinic to quickly reunite with you," stated the COSA Facebook post. "And the best news is - there is no annual fee for our chips. You're set for life!"
Stop by Animal Services at 3142 US Hwy 67 N today Thursday June 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hardest part is the enrollment - get a head start by completing the form at cosatx.us/animals while you wait.
