Southwest Blvd. Intersection Detour Changes with Construction Progress

SAN ANGELO – Motorists who travel along Southwest Blvd. will notice a change in the detour around the intersection with Green Meadow Dr. Thursday as construction has shifted from the west side of Green Meadow to the east side.  

According to information from the City of San Angelo, construction crews have opened Green Meadow to the west of the intersection and have now closed Green Meadow east of the intersection.  

Motorists traveling west on Green Meadow may avoid the closure by traveling south on Meadow Creek Trail and west on Rock Brook Drive.

 The intersection is undergoing reconstruction and is anticipated to reopen July 2022.
