WATCH: Memorial Day Celebrations Underway at Lake Nasworthy

SAN ANGELO – The Memorial Day weekend is traditionally a busy one as the unofficial start to summer  kicks off at the parks around Lake Nasworthy in San Angelo.

San Angelo area residents are normally joined by people from around West Texas who come to San Angelo to enjoy the lake, the parks and the outdoors.

Memorial Day is observed Monday, May 30, 2022.  It is the day set aside to honor those who have passed away in service to our country and those who served and passed later.
