Railway Museum Announces Exciting Festival

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Railway Museum is hosting a festival next month. 

According to the Railway Museum, Railway Days is Saturday, May 14 at the Railway Museum of San Angelo.

The festival includes living history tours, a car show, tours of the caboose and engine, rides on the Choo Choo Train for kids, the 11 a.m. dedication of the original sheep sculpture, a noon performance of the Concho Cowboys, 1 p.m. drone photography of the depot, entertainment, vendors and food trucks.

For the drone photo outside the museum, everyone is invited to dress up in old-timey clothes if they have them. 

All model railroaders are invited for Railway Days to Show, Swap or Sell.  They can bring their model trains and equipment and set up on tables on the depot platform at 9 a.m. 

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no charge for tables and no percentage is taken from model railroaders’ sales.
