Family of San Angelo Teen Who Died in Accidental Shooting Needs Your Help

SAN ANGELO, TX – The family of the teen who was killed last week by accidental gunfire is asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses.

As previously reported on Thursday, Mar. 17, 2022 at around 3:35 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Crenshaw for the report of a shooting victim.

The following day SAPD confirmed that Xavier Valencia, 15, died following an accidental shooting. For the original article see: San Angelo Police Confirm Teen Was Killed in Accidental Shooting

Now the family is asking for donations to go towards the funeral cost for Valencia.

"Everyone knows how hard it is to lose a loved one and even harder when it’s your child. He had so much growing up and living to do," stated Valencia's family member on the donation page. "I’m just asking for a little help because as his parents and family are trying to grieve it is also a hassle to try and figure things out when it comes to funeral cost. Please any little thing can help whatever you can send or afford thank you and God bless."
